Invest in the Future of DMA
Promoting Excellence ~ Raising the Bar ~ Cultivating Frienships & Partnerships
Delaware Military Academy has worked exceptionally hard and continues to invest in the future of our cadets and families through building relationships with local companies, agencies and of course our families. DMA has recently completed their campus vision which included a Freshman academy, indoor athletic center and multi-purpose stadium. DMA now aims to expand our curriculum options even further and to increase enrollment slightly. We need your help to assist in future construction projects and to continue enhancing our campus to offer our cadets the very best academic, military and athletic experience possible. Please consider giving and being a great friend to DMA.
Additionally, As a Charter school, Delaware Military Academy does not receive capital funding. This equates to a loss of $1,500,000.00—$1.5 million dollars! Although we do our best to strategically compensate for that financial loss, we rely on our DMA community to help us improve the school’s buildings, programs, and operations.
When you submit your donation, you enable us to provide your cadet with an excellent education, great extracurricular activities, and a place where they can learn safely. We are committed to making DMA the best school in the State of Delaware and will continue to take steps in doing so, but your partnership is vitally important!

Additional Ways to Give
Gifts of Cash
The most common methods of giving are to write a check or make a gift using your VISA or MasterCard. Most gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by your personal tax situation.
Securities
Many donors realize substantial tax advantages by transferring gifts of appreciated stock to the Delaware Miltary Academy. Capital gains on the amount of appreciation are avoided, and the donor receives a tax deduction for the stock’s full market value. Gifts of real estate are also accepted. Please consult with your tax advisor and our CFO, Kenneth Gatson, if you wish to make a gift of securities or real estate.
Matching Gifts
Many companies will match donations to the Delaware Military Academy by their employees. Please contact your employer’s human resources or community relations office to see if your gift can be matched.
Restricted and Unrestricted Gifts
Gifts of any size may be designated for a specific campaign goal or may be left unrestricted. Unrestricted gifts give the Delaware Military Academy the flexibility to allocate funds where and when they are most needed.
