Major Events This Month!

Good morning Seahawk Nation,

Welcome to October and the beginning of a very busy month at DMA.  We have a few major events occurring this month, beginning with our USNA trip today; so get yourself a cup of coffee and stay up to date with all things DMA-related!

  • The positive Covid-19 cases for last week (9/27-10/1) were five (5). The total for the school year is nine (9).
  • Tuesday, October 5th is Winter Meet the Coaches Night in the Dome at 6:30pm.
  • Friday, October 8th is In-Service for teachers. There is no school for cadets.
  • Monday, October 11th there is no school in recognition of Columbus Day.
  • Tuesday, October 12th is a DMAMA meeting at 6:30pm in McDonald Hall.
  • Wednesday, October 13th is 9/10 PSAT and NMSQT testing for those who signed up. There is no school for the cadets who are not testing.
  • Thursday, October 14th is a SBC meeting beginning at 6:30pm in the Dome.
  • Saturday, October 16th is the DMA Open House from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Please share the QR code at the top of the page on all of your social media outlets! We are expecting a very large turnout and are excited to showcase our cadets, our school and our mission to prospective new students!  Help us spread the word!
  • College Application Week begins Monday, October 18th and goes through Friday, October 22nd.
  • We then wrap up the month with Spirit Week beginning Monday, October 25th through Friday, October 29th. Presale for color war t-shirts will be held on Tuesday, October 5th through the 7th during lunch. The cost of the shirts is $12.00.
  • Homecoming information regarding dress down week, the game and the dance will be coming out later next week!

  • Sports Report: Last week’s results
    • Congratulations to the Volleyball team who defeated MOT Charter and First State Military Academy 3-0.
    • Congratulations to the Soccer team who defeated Archmere 5-2.
    • Congratulations to the Field Hockey team who defeated St. Georges 3-0.
    • Congratulations to the Football team who defeated McKean 49-0.
    • Congratulations to the Cross Country team who had an excellent showing at the Sallies Invitational.
